When Covid hit the states I decided to put the skills I had been learning to the test by marooning myself on an island in the Ten Thousand Islands region of Florida. I survived solely off of fish, crabs, and cactus that I harvested on the island and in the surrounding waters. I did this for 15 days. At that point I had exhausted my cache of water I brought and the desalination machine I had built was no longer keeping up with my demand so I decided to make the 15 mile paddle back to shore and end this chapter.
