Over the past several years, sunrise has become my favorite part of the day. In busy National Parks often the only way to get the most iconic views all to yourself is to wake up hours before sunrise and hike into the perfect spot to watch daybreak. Even after leaving my life on the road I still continue to wake up before the rest of the world roars to life so I can enjoy the morning solitude.
